The White House has finalized its investigation into an incident involving Jeffrey Goldberg, editor of The Atlantic, who was unintentionally added to a Signal messaging group consisting of high-level officials discussing planned military actions in Yemen. During a press briefing on Monday, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated, “This case has been closed here at the White House as far as we are concerned.” She emphasized that measures are being implemented to prevent similar occurrences in the future, although specifics regarding these steps were not disclosed.

Last week, Leavitt indicated that an internal review was being conducted by various parties, including the National Security Council, the White House counsel’s office, and Trump adviser Elon Musk, to examine the circumstances surrounding the mishap.
