In Boston, Massachusetts, the 15th Annual Juneteenth Emancipation Observance featured a historic procession, cultural performances, and storytelling sessions aimed at honoring the legacy of Black emancipation. Houston’s ZFT Run Club, a Black-founded running group, celebrated its eighth anniversary during Juneteenth week with a 5K run and community celebration. In Port Arthur, Texas, the African American Cultural Society led by Gail Pellum continued its 41-year tradition of Juneteenth celebrations, including parades and a sunrise service at Boardwalk Park.
